Experience
From building the data, to reading it, to answering sector and policy questions with it.
Set out by the nature of the work rather than by job title. The direction has been fairly consistent, even where the subject matter jumped around.

Sectoral ResearchPolicy AnalysisSupply Chain MappingPower BISQLPythonI work across strategy, research, analytics and public systems, turning sectoral research, large datasets and policy questions into positions an institution can act on. The role keeps pulling toward the same place: understanding the systems behind markets rather than looking at problems one at a time.
Key Areas
- Strategic Research
- Industries, markets, policies and institutional ecosystems, researched to support a decision rather than to describe a landscape.
- Economic & Sectoral Analysis
- Energy, fuels, steel, electronics and semiconductors, with the focus on economic structure, regulation and supply chains.
- International Trade & Market Entry
- Global trade, India entry, import and export ecosystems, and cross border business opportunity.
- Public Systems & Governance
- Urban governance, infrastructure, transport, municipal systems and regional economic development.
- Data & Analytics
- Analytical frameworks, dashboards, visualisations and decision support systems that make large datasets usable.
- Strategy & Policy
- Research backed strategy documents, policy briefs, presentations and frameworks for institutional and business decisions.

SQLPower BIPythonExcelETL PipelinesI ran analytics and reporting for a large distributed field organisation, and designed the systems that governed how it spent money and how it evaluated people. The work went from framing the problem all the way down to what happened at the node.
Key Areas
- Decision infrastructure
- ETL and real time reporting for 650 users across a 132 node network handling over 2,000 meetings a day.
- Financial systems & controls
- Performance linked payouts covering 15,000 field personnel and 1,000 vehicles, under audit driven expenditure controls.
- Evaluation design
- A structured candidate evaluation system run across 160 enumerators, feeding straight into selection policy.
Selected Work
Reporting infrastructure
Reporting was assembled by hand, so leadership was deciding on information that had already aged. I traced how information really moved, then rebuilt it as an ETL pipeline with structured intake. The lag was never about volume. It came from reconciling incompatible formats after the fact, so standardising capture mattered more than adding reporting capacity.
Performance linked payouts
Payouts had to reach 15,000 people against performance criteria with no tolerance for error. I turned the policy into explicit rules based logic with audit controls, so every disbursement traced back to a rule. Most of the leakage risk had been sitting in the gap between how a rule was written and how it got interpreted at the node.
Documented Outcomes
- ₹110M+ disbursed with zero reconciliation errors
- ₹150M in cost optimisation, and a 60% reduction in overall campaign spend
- 200+ dashboards and 1,500+ analytical reports, reporting turnaround down about 70%

Product ScopingAutomated ETLReporting DesignResearch operations and insight delivery, with a product strand running through it. I scoped an in house survey application and oversaw its technical design, and rebuilt how projects got reviewed once they closed.
Key Areas
- Research operations
- Post project analysis framework with automated ETL and reporting pipelines.
- Product scoping
- Requirements and technical design oversight for an in house survey application.
- Vendor governance
- Structured accountability reporting against vendor performance.
Selected Work
Survey product and research ops
Collection was slow and expensive, and review cycles ran long enough that retrospectives landed after they could change anything. Once vendor performance became visible on a shared, regular basis, it started moving without needing to be separately managed.
Documented Outcomes
- 50% cost reduction in research operations
- 600% faster project review cycles
- 25% improvement in vendor KPIs

Power BIElasticsearchNotionExcelPythonAnalytics across a research base of more than 230 datasets, pulling qualitative and quantitative inputs into reporting that senior stakeholders could actually use on a regular cycle.
Key Areas
- Data intelligence
- Exploration and analysis across 230+ datasets using Power BI, Elasticsearch and Python.
- Reporting systems
- Executive dashboards, plus a Notion and Excel workflow serving a research team of over 200.
- Applied research
- Traditional research methods combined with web scraping, sentiment analysis and quantitative modelling.
Selected Work
Multi source research analytics
Insight generation was spread thin across the dataset base and reporting was slow. The real constraint was not analytical capacity. It was the handover between research and reporting, which was being redone by hand every time.
Documented Outcomes
- 300% faster reporting and presentation delivery
- 1,000+ reports combining qualitative and quantitative inputs

Helped build
Two ventures I worked on directly rather than advised from a distance.

Product & Digital Analytics
BizUpreach
I worked on the product and analytics side, delivering web projects end to end and setting up analytics across enterprise profiles so the work could be measured rather than guessed at.

Campaign Infrastructure
Electancy
I helped build the infrastructure underneath it. Real time intelligence systems, disbursement logic, and the operations layer that large multi stakeholder campaigns run on.
